ST MAGNUS WAY

Next year’s walking trip is booked. Colin and I are walking St Magnus Way in Orkney. It’s only 60 miles this time but should be really interesting with the remote island terrain and wildlife. We’ve booked accommodation where we’ll stay all week with them taking us to the start and collecting us at the end of each day. I can feel a few drams coming on. We’re going a little later than we would normally but that’s so as to try to get the best weather. It’s never hot but the beginning of June should be the driest it gets. We still need to sort a way to get there but we will be flying to Kirkwall but not sure where from yet. Probably Birmingham via Glasgow. Colin has already bought new waterproof walking boots for the trip, I’m being positive and thinking about new sandals. 😁
