IT'S COME TO THIS

its With my newfound interest in vinyl, Jayne and I drove to the Canal Trust charity book and music store in Brimscome. We knew it was there because it’s where we took all our CD’s when we moved home. I’d looked at buying a few new albums but I’m going to have to save my pocket money - have you seen the price of LP’s recently. This was more me. Stacks of albums from the 70’s and 80’s, probably donated by the children of dead dads. What a deal - 3 for £5 so we picked 6 and I used my “toilet ten” since their internet and therefore till was playing up. What’s a toilet ten; well when we were in India we were advised to always have a 10 rupee note available for the up-market toilets. ₹10 is worth about 10 pence. I’ve also updated my DISCOGS account that has a catalogue of all our albums but because I’d not opened the app since 2023 it needed me to change my password and there was only limited internet. Whilst the albums weren’t expensive I didn’t want to buy duplicates so was cautious on what I picked. Jayne less so …. we now have duplicates of David Essex All The Fun of the Fair so I can donate one, maybe try a swap.
