My brother-in-law is a big fan of Last of the Summer Wine and All Creatures Great and Small. So we arranged a quick trip to Gods own country. Our plan was to leave before 4pm on Friday but a traffic accident delayed the plans and then there was a massive tail back on the M1 so the plan to eat at Mum and Dads favourite fish and chip place fell apart so McDonald’s it was. An early start on Saturday up to Haworth arriving before all the tourists then on to Grassington, or Darrowby It was a bit chilly so I had to wear my hat. It’s coming off when we go over Ilkley Moor.
